Jeffrey is a lifetime Kansas resident. He completed his undergraduate work at Washburn University of Topeka (BBA in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude, 1976) and continued his education at Oklahoma State University obtaining a Master of Science in Accounting degree in 1977.  Jeffrey earned his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law (Magna Cum Laude, 1982).  Jeffrey taught at Washburn University as an Assistant Professor of Taxation, School of Business from 1978 through 1987 and an Adjunct Professor of Taxation, Law School from 1982 through 1990.  He is a frequent lecturer for professional and community organizations.
