Jay Newbery grew up in Topeka, Kansas and is currently a partner of Newbery, Ungerer & Hickert, LLP.  Jay primarily practices in the areas of Non-Profit, Corporate, and Contract Law, as well as Business and Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration.  As an attorney, Jay has been involved with numerous commercial transactions, and has been involved with corporate reorganizations for both for-profit and non-profit organizations.  He has also formed and organized a number of businesses and non-profit organizations, including obtaining tax exemption determinations from the IRS.  Prior to law school, Jay worked in the field of commercial banking and assisted local businesses of all sizes achieve success by offering tailored financial solutions to meet the business’s needs.
